Tracy DuPrez, DVM (Owner)

I have worked in the field of veterinary medicine for over 20 years. I first worked as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and then attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2001.  I worked as an associate first at Cordova Veterinary Hospital in the Sacramento area for 3 years, then at Alosta Animal Hospital in Glendora for 5 years.  I am now the owner of Valley Animal Hospital.

This is an incredibly rewarding profession for me.  I have never been without cats and dogs in my life, and I understand how important pets are to my clients.  I strive to honor that bond and do the best I can to ensure the health and well-being of my patients.

I am a So Cal native, born and raised in nearby Glendora. I currently live in La Verne.

Christina Bowers, DVM

I grew up near Baltimore, Maryland and have been working with animals since I was a teenager.  I started off as a kennel attendant, then worked as a technician for several years between college and veterinary school.  I moved to Southern California in 2007 to attend Western Universiy of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011.  Southern California is an amazing place to be and I just couldn't leave after graduation.  I have been working in the area ever since.

I have an interest in treating small exotic mammals.  I have a dog named Ruxin and a cat named Zorro and I have a menagerie of pocket pets.  When at home, I enjoy making jewelry, tending to my plants, taking my dog on long walks and cheering on the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball team!  Becoming a Veterinarian is the only thing I have wanted to do with my life and I am so happy to be a part of the Valley Animal Hospital Family.

Dr. Plotzker

 Michelle Plotzker, DVM

Originally from upstate New York, I got my bachelor's degree from Montclair State University before graduating from Western University of Health Sciences as a doctor of veterinary medicine. Before becoming a veterinarian, I worked as a hospital assistant and a technician as clinics in NY and NJ. There are so many aspects of veterinary medicine and at Valley Animal Hospital, I am able to explore everything that small animal general practice has to offer. I especially enjoy keeping pets healthy with preventative medicine so that they can live long, happy lives with their families.

When I am not at work, I enjoy hiking, camping, and going to the beach with my dogs Turk and Daisy as well as gardening, sewing and horseback riding. Being a native New Yorker, I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring all that Southern California has to offer.

It is an honor to live out my life-long dream and serve our clients and their wonderful pets!
